I own both Xbox series X/S and the Xbox one version of Madden 24 and I have been playing the Xbox one version on my Xbox Series X since my friends play that version. Today I tried logging in to the game and it told me I need an active EA play subscription due to a trial expiring but I never downloaded the trial and have been playing for way longer than 10 hours. Is there any way around this?
I downloaded madden 24 trial through ea play. When I load it up, I get an error saying “thank you for trying out madden nfl 24, your signed in account requires an active ea play subscription. Please purchase ea play and try again.” I already have ea play purchased and tied to restart Xbox.
It states “this trial can only be played on the account downloaded please sign in back into the account and restart the game to continue progress”
but I own the full game and it won’t let me log into anything and play the game

In the meantime, we've seen some reports that you might be able to get around this error by hitting LT or L2 to switch to a different profile, then switching back to your main account. Please give that a shot when you're able and see if it allows you to log in.
