I have the exact same problem! Today I couldn't play BF 2042 anymore because it says in the EA app: "Game Pass subscription expired". Which is wrong; my subscription is active. Xbox Account is linked correctly and in the Xbox App it still shows EA Play and BF 2042 etc.

Contacted EA, opened a case, but nothing so far. 

Logged out, logged in, etc. nothing helped.

It seems as if they have issues with their API for the Xbox/MS data. 

Really crappy!
