"you dont have access"

I tried to play FIFA 22 -which I've played for hours for months- suddenly it stopped working. I have the game via XBOX Game Pass, I have read solutions about how I should install and pause Apex, but it's stuck at "preparing" do I have to unistall everything and install again?

    @computeraccess Wahey, never mind. I went to uninstall it again but this time I clicked "repair". It asked me to sign in and then I had to link my Steam account and voila, the game launched successfully. Maybe try that if you haven't already. Best of luck.

    @mahmutnecmi75 Tried to play DAI, it said I didn't have access. Read that installing Apex might help, it says "there's a problem with your download". Uninstalled and installed again. downdetector has a spike in complaints these past few hours. Great, functional app.
