Controller Not Working
I have an 8BitDo controller, using the EA App. Controller works fine on other games. Bluetooth and wired, multiple ports, does not change it. I got it working for about 2 hours yesterday, at some point I went into a game and it disconnected, don't know how I got it working to begin with. When I disconnect and reconnect the game registers it for about 3 seconds and then loses it.
Unrelated to the post is it better to create a discussion like this if I see someone having similar issues or just reply to the other's discussion.
Ok I managed to recreate the fix. While I am on profile screen at launch of the game. I open my devices in Windows and remove the 8bitdo controller as an input. Then when I go back into the game the controller stays working as an input rather than disconnecting like normal.
