Steam key is reported as invalid

I was selected for the PC playtest, but the Steam key is reported as invalid. EA’s Beta Code Tool also says the original key is invalid, and the title does not appear in my EA app Library. Please verify or reissue my entitlement.

    Hi there,

    Since you redeemed a Steam code, please launch the game through the Steam client. Beta licenses are platform-specific and do not carry over between platforms.

    If the game doesn’t appear in your Steam library, please restart the Steam client. If it’s still missing, try clearing the cache and then check your library again. Thanks.

    I tried redeaming it on steam and it says code is invalid even though it says its a steam code and I directly copy and pasted it into steam so I know I didnt misstype it.
