Crossplay not working (PS5)

Just to check, do you both definitely have cross-play enabled in-game? (This can be switched on or off.)

Yes, we both definitely have cross play enabled, even when trying to join someone on the same platform, if they have crossplay enabled I can't join

Yes and this was an issue that occurred in F1 22 as well, please tell me there is some sort of solution for this because It only happens when crossplay is enabled, if both people are on the same platform with crossplay enabled we can’t join each other, but as soon as crossplay is turned off we can join fine

Summarize your bug Hello I am on PS5 and whenever I have crossplay enabled and try to search for a multiplayer race I get error code PP65539. Matchmaking works again whenever I have crossplay off, but the issue is that this limits the player base for me and most of the time the lobbies are empty. I can’t play with any friends from PC or any other platform. Other EA titles like FIFA work fine with crossplay. It seems like I’m only having this issue with F1 23. A solution to this problem would be greatly appreciated

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Whenever crossplay is enabled and whenever you’re searching for a lobby
What happens when the bug occurs? The matchmaking gets cancelled and the error pops up
What do you expect to see? I expect the matchmaking to work and connect me to a crossplay lobby.

This error is not allowing me to play multiplayer with crossplay enabled

Cmon EA we’ve spent our money on this game and an important feature is missing and none of you want to help us with this problem. I’m even seeing old posts from people complaining about it on F1 22 which means this is a problem that has been around for a while and there hasn’t been any solutions. Absolutely ridiculous that we’re getting ignored when multiple people are having this problem. I can’t find any matches on f1 world due to this problem and turning off crossplay lowers the player base for us. Im getting empty lobbies sometimes depending on the mode. I expect better support especially when it comes to an issue that cuts out a significant portion of the experience for us.

Where are you from? I have same issue in Egypt and it's related to the internet connection all across Egypt with any internet service provider 

What the hell. Ever since the servers went down for maintenance cross play is broken (on PlayStation at least)

can’t find any ranked lobby’s at all.
