@DRudd13 It may depend on what upgrades the to Ai teams such as Red Bull start with in your new my team career. For example if you look at the chassis upgrade table at start off season. Red Bull I believe has a big lead. However from my experience they generally always pick a one stop S/M tyre strategy in 50% race. Where I have to pick M/H or S/H. So I’m assuming they have one or more tyre wear upgrades. Which each tyre upgrade has a higher value compared to other chassis upgrades. So although they may appear to have comparable performance on the rankings. Increased tyre durability doesn’t add as anywhere near as much performance as weight reduction. If that makes sense. They will probably also have an extra brake upgrade which likewise doesn’t add any increase in pace.

@ScarDuck14 It maybe that, but RB are ahead on chassis and aerodynamics and not too far behind in the powertrain. While the majority of my upgrades are in durability, which have no performance advantage. So I'm still a bit dubious that something changes to the AI when your car is fully upgraded.

@DRudd13 I think it’s very possible that even though it says it’s not on at higher difficulty levels. That adaptive Ai stays on to some degree. Complaint has always been that player can max car well before the Ai teams. So to keep it competitive the Ai gets buffs when needed to make it seem competitive. However if it is the case they are poorly implemented. So those of us who know these games and know what we should and shouldnt be seeing can tell when the game cheats. Which I wouldn’t mind so much but doing a couple hours in race only for the game to force a result that punishes is because we didn’t put a wheel wrong really annoys me. All games use scripts and cheats to cover up for weaknesses with the games code and Ai. But most games will have enough different cheats it can use so they are not blatantly obvious. The F1 games have to few and used to often. Although as I can’t ever seem to get rain in a race anymore. I’ve not had the annoyance off track going dry to wet in last few laps where I need to pit but Ai don’t. But whenever I’m doing well in a race. My car top speed will drop whilst the Ais increases. In second half off races It’s happened so many times it’s the reason I deleted the game. Can be consistently lapping and keeping pace with front runners looking to score some good points. Say top 5 Then one ai after another catches up and eventually passes me. Funny enough majority off the time resulting in my finishing position being in one off the positions my team is in performance rankings. If my team is 5th for instance 9th will be the best I can hope for. But if my car is ranked 1st. And I start at front off grid. Doesn’t matter how well I drive and how much OP my car is. I can’t get away from the 5ish Ai cars chasing me. But Ai further back will be way way behind. Very often up front be the lead group off Ai cars stuck to me. Then a slower group off Ai that stay together the entire race regardless off who it is. And maybe one or two at the back due to a accident or issue. So I’m praying that the new game with a new career means exactly that and race outcomes feel organic
