@Cpayne32 That refund method is pointless to everyone here.
From what I've read on that link, you can only get a refund within 14 days, but its been just over 4 months since release, and many of us are the hardcore player base that supports this series and paid £90 to pre-order back in May 2024.
Simply offering a link to refund is a bit of a cop out reply. We don't want refunds. We want a game that reflects the price we were charged!
Player base and sales have never been lower for the series, but WE are the ones still here!! Still reporting bugs, offering suggestions and wishlists and hoping to see an improvement. That needs to be respected, or there will be nobody left buying the game.
Why won't the devs come on here and talk to us directly? Surely 20 minutes a week just to answer some questions and provide some feedback isn't too much to ask....
A LOT of the frustration here is that the community managers either ignore genuine bug reports and feedback, or just say it's been passed on, and we never hear anything more about it....
I gave up reporting that I consistently had no starting lights shown which was game breaking for me, and still happens. I left so many clips with examples, gave plenty of info, and not a single reply! I'm angry about that!!
I wouldn't expect such poor quality when buying a loaf of bread, so why should I accept it when buying one of the most expensive video games on the market today?
Can I just clarify regarding that refund link, too?:
"If you submit a chargeback for a refund that is outside of our refund policy, we may take one of the following actions:
Lock or restrict your EA Account
remove the content charged back."
Does that mean if we request a refund, we may lose our EA accounts??
None of that seems consumer friendly or gives much confidence in EA.
I'm not buying F1 25 at launch, first time since F1 2010 that I won't be pre-ordering, so I'm hoping for a huge improvement!
