I only ever remember seeing lists of supported wheels being published after each game has been launched. Like you I think this should be shared well in advance of launch, and pre-ordering without knowing this really doesn't make any sense to me. I've said as much many times, including flagging this behind the scenes, but sadly to date nothing has changed in this regard.

All it does is re-affirm the notion that EA do not care one bit about their fan base - it’s all about the money. They almost certainly know it will cause so many of us to not bother pre-ordering, so they hope we do and it will be too late by the time we find out. 

Shocking customer service, especially with something that can be communicated so easily.

we are currently working on finalizing the list of supported wheels and devices. As you can imagine, it's not that easy to work with the different wheel manufactures, test drivers and compatibility.

Of course, we are trying to release the list as soon as possible and understand that it's important for many of you.

As soon as we have more info to share, we will let you know!

Nope.

Should be easy. Give them the game. Plug it in. Does it work? Wicked. Let us know then. 

i absolutely won’t be buying it this time round if my wheel is incompatible. 

@Casual_Gamer9188 Feel free to wait until after the game has been released and the list of compatible peripherals has been confirmed before purchasing the game. No one is forcing you to pre-order the game 5 weeks before release and hope that your wheel is compatible with your purchase.
