AI are way too fast on the straights

I've merged some posts into this thread and also moved it to our Technical Issues & Bug Reports section. I've passed it along to the team as well to look into what's going on here. As usual, it would be helpful if you could provide as many details as possible. Like, does this in fact only happen in career mode? What is your AI difficulty set at?
I’ve had this happen in career & Grand Prix mode. I race at 75.
I only play career, no assist, 100% race distance. Curently 60 AI difficulty because of this. But there are tracks, where I can easily pull away from them, Melbourne was one, Imola was another for example. But Jeddah, Miami come to my mind as tracks where it was really horrible. Both have 3 DRS zones, maybe that's why, I don't know.
I'm curious - how many people here are using the default setups?
Here's an example. I'm flat out through the last corner at Catalunya. I deploy the battery and drain it in it's entirety and the AI car behind with no DRS and not close in proximity (no drag) gains a lot of time on me even before I'm half way down the straight.
It's their catapult like slingshot out of the corners that are completely out of touch with reality.
This is just like F122 again. Went back on F123 in Spain, exactly the same scenario and no ridiculous unrealistic rapid gain from the AI.
Only play grand prix mode but have no issues at all with ai speed on straights. Obviously they'll look further ahead than they do in the corners but that's because they can get on power before you.
If there is any issue it must be in career. It's not like 22 where it was clearly a issue
- @EA_Vendcera Very honest with You its Not The Difficulty i have played with 35, 70 , 90 and 105 its just they brake too early or late in various difficulty also Their Straight line is Infinite doesnt matter what is the difficulty.
And One Thing to mention when Bot taking a corner after the Exit their GRIP is infinite its like they dont have tyre wear issue or performance car issue as well, even worse car on the grid with bad chassis or bad aero have the Infinite Grip after The Exit.
This issue is there since F1 22, F1 23 was slightly better but still there 101 ai difficulty, pole position in qualifying, down the straights I find u have to use all my ERS to merely keep up.
I only play career modes at the moment - both driver and 2 player.
I’ve even found that my teammates are somehow faster than me, even when I get a way better corner exit.
