Only play grand prix mode but have no issues at all with ai speed on straights. Obviously they'll look further ahead than they do in the corners but that's because they can get on power before you.
If there is any issue it must be in career. It's not like 22 where it was clearly a issue
For me it's just like 22. Last year's game 23 was absolutely perfect in this regard.
