Car not meeting max potential speed

Hi all,

I reported this issue about a week ago, my my career car wouldn’t accelerate smoothly and I would be losing 1-5 seconds on every straight no matter the distance. I thought maybe after the recent release it would be fixed but it still isn’t. I’m on a ps4 with a Logitech wheel. This glitch makes the game unplayable so it looks like I won’t be playing for another week now. Please help me

    @chongi33  The reason I asked you to try that was to see if it was software or could just be the wheel. I was having the same problem with a G29 (on a PS5), and there is a basic process that cleans the metal contacts in each of the pedals. I did that and it worked, and made a significant difference - I was probably losing time before I noticed as the brakes would come on slightly. It wasn't until I noticed that suddenly the DRS would turn off even though I was in the middle of the DRS zone. I verified this using telemetry software. 

    This may or not be your solution - but a look at telemetry might help.

    @dwin20  thanks for the reply, I tested with my controller and all seemed pretty good. I played a little with my wheel last night and it seemed to sometimes fix but sometimes go back to the glitch. I had the same issue on last years game where every new patch the glitch would come and then when the next patch came it would go again and keep repeating. Thanks for the help

    @chongi33 Go to YouTube  and search for "logitech G29 brake pedal flickering." There will be several videos that show ways of doing this. But, you will need to figure out which one fits your situation. Hope this helps

    Same issue for me.

    today my car is slower than all the others (270kmh top speed in Monza vs 310kmh) with zero on both front and rear wing.

    2 days ago I was as slow as today.

    yesterday it seemed to be fixed.

    today here it happens again.

    it’s a joke
