@Comet928I honestly don't believe this will be addressed again.
This game has been nothing short of a train wreck, so I wouldn't be surprised if updates slow to a crawl, up until 25 releases in a horrendous state.
At this point, it feels like an extremely safe bet that the AI will stay the same. The AI are probably OK enough for a 5 Lap race, so that's enough to pass testing and get passed over as "acceptable" for people who have never touched a racing game before.
Edit: Lengthy Addition;
What gives that away for me (Sunsetting 'F1 24' Game Development), is that the "Investigating" section of the "Community Raised Issues" page, hasn't REALLY changed in about 2 months.
Equal Cars, the bump issues have been there for months.
And the F1 World Boosts were broken since launch, and are only NOW being fixed in an unknown timeline patch.
It seriously feels like the Dev Team has moved on from 24, and are only pushing patches to update Paid in-game content (Micro Transaction Updates), and throwing in an actual bug fix to say they fixed something, as per the EA standard practices (Micro Transactions > Functioning Game).
I'm NOT blaming the CodeMasters team.
I'm yet again, like a broken record, blaming EA's horrendous mishandling of major IP's.
The CodeMasters team deserves SO MUCH MORE than what they're getting.
I want to acknowledge the ones from the team who are actively working on trying to fix this mess.
And I seriously hope they can make 25 a Masterpiece, because my god... they need it.
