Thank you for doing this. I noticed the build ID on my installed files from steam haven't changed, I'm assuming this means a separate app/service was updated?
So far still struggling with frame rates on PC VR, was flawless before ~1.14 update. DxDiag attached. Using quest link cable, working fine over steamlink (which is less demanding on the GPU at a given resolution)

Fair few pointers, I'd say. Issues in F1 23 and CoD? Post the mainboard name, it's not in the dxdiag.
Thanks for taking a look --
F1 23 and CoD run great (well, for CoD). Even F1 24 runs great still if I do VR over wifi (steamlink), despite the same resolution at the app render level. It just looks ever so slightly less immersive

Regarding the threads you pulled in the diagnostics sections, they're helpful but incidental unfortunately. VR games run by streaming video from a server running on the PC, and the servers have a habit of "* the bed", technically speaking of course. The ones you flagged are virtual desktop (which is a nice independent streamer, wifi only) and the oculus service. VR is still immature, but at the point where it's amazing if you're willing to deal with the overhead. Driving these F1 cars around Baku for example, in VR... it's incredible.

Nice to see someone persevering with the game and retaining the joy of the experience!
I do sincerely hope this works for you as you also have an appreciation that how you run the game and what with has a bearing.
Update the ME then restart and then apply the UEFI update.

Simply the way the CPU and the mainboard is not updated can have a huge impact.
I would still look into removing Armoury Crate as it has a history of interfering with smooth operation of the game.

I run a 4080, 64 GB RAM, i9 12900 and before 12/12.was able to get a steady 85FPS in this game and 23.
23 runs absolutely fine but I got to hand it to you - you've made this abomination even worse.
I can't even run the benchmark test without it freezing up now.

Needless to say the instructions to delete the .xml files did nothing.
