F1 24 Cannot quick downshift

What happens when the bug occurs? Quick downshifting doesn't register the proper gear.
What do you expect to see? I expect the game to register the proper gear selected by quick downshifting.

I cannot quick downshift.

For instance, I'm in any gear and need to come down at least two, the game only registers one gear down.

If I need to come down three or more, sometimes it will come down only by two because I'm tapping the paddle more often in this case.

Not about to change my driving style to accomodate this, which would also affect my lap times.

I didn't have this problem with the 2012,2013 or 2017 games.

Very inconsistent and game breaking if I want to use manual.

I have only tested this in F2 Career.
