I'm having the exact same issue. I started using a new wheel and not long after the ERS has bugged?

I'm using moza ES steering wheel with GT mod and R3 base.

Makes the game completely unplayable.

  Deleting the game, then downloading it again and re-installing has just fixed it for me. Completed 2 races now and it has worked perfectly.
  I play the game via steam incase that makes any difference.

    This is not a solution for me, because this bug is suddenly active again and you have to delete everything again
