F1 24 VR-mode: Still no OpenXR support. What a joke...

Summarize your bug Well F1 23 never got fixed and F1 24 - not really surprising - has the same issue: When copying the OpenComposite .DLL to F1 24 the game will crash with an error-message right away. So still no OpenXR support. "Thanks" for (not) listening, @EA! :mad: Too bad that customer satisfaction apperently nothing EA is after...

What peripherals are you using? Please list the exact make and model. Varjo Aero, Meta Quest 3
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? Not related
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to open the game with OpenComposite in OpenXR instead of the lame outdated OpenVR runtime.
What happens when the bug occurs? Game crashes with errormessage
What do you expect to see? Opening in VR OpenXR

    Hi, I'm having the same issues. Since F1 23 VR is simply disgusting, like many games that use Steam VR!!!! @EA MAKES AN EFFORT, could you at least answer us something???!!!! Is it impossible to allow us to use openXR??? If yes, why ?

    they probably looking at this as a non issue since it is working as intended in the sense that they didn't promisse openxr. This should probably be raise on the Enhacement requests directory. Again, I am just assuming here why the no replies from their team so far so don't take my word for granted. As you I want to see the same thing happening since current implementation crashes for me all the time and I blame the game for not using OpenXR
