Listen I don’t wanna say anything mate. But last time on f1 2023 u had the ffb problems on the g pro wheel for ps5. And it took over 3 months before you guys at ea even fixed. Am I about to wait that long again? Sure looks that way. Don’t worry I’m deleting game finding new sim game to drive. With my expensive rig that you guys always screw up. Great way to keep customers mate. Beyond me how you guys are in business still. When are u fixing ffb on g pro wheel for ps5?

Okay it's seems you can finally close the topic with low FFB.
Logitech just mentioned the Pro Wheel and the needed settings for F1 24 on the wheel itself.
There seems to be an issue with Dampener turned on at the Wheel Menu.
Recommended settings are Dampener turned OFF on the wheel.
This seems to be the final solution.
The wheel feels now more natural in FFB and behaviour if losing grip.
Here are the recommended settings for the wheel settings from Logitech.
(Last year they recommended 15 for Dampener)
This year for F1 24:
Logitech Pro Wheel
PS and XBOX
FFB Filter: 8
Dampener: Turned OFF
True Force Audio: 40
From my perspective you can adjust TF Audio a little bit down.
Also FFB Filter possible to set down until 4, depends how you like it
Hope you can now experience the game better, also try to adjust in-game settings how you prefer after trying above wheel settings.

I would swear on it, this Dampener turned on at the Pro Wheel ruined the FFB.
Also I expected EA have an answer for that or a response in trying it out with the Pro Wheel - but in my opinion lack of initiative from the team.
Sometimes you need to help yourself, companys are more limited than ever in time and development. Money is more important to the developers of the game.
In the 90s we didn't need to complain about so much issues and bugs with the games. Today it's different

Yeah I turned my damper off on my g pro wheel. Only way to get any feel. But it’s still not that good. I got my base at 11nm I got the in game at 130. Don’t want to crank it. Afraid for clipping. But still ffb is useless. No strength at all. Most I get is 5nm. Torque. lol. It’s says on Logitech recommended settings under consoles to put ffb at 70. If I were to put mine at 70 I would be turning wheel with my finger. I get a very flat type feel. I turned in game damper to 2. That kinda stiffened up wheel a bit. But I don’t expect any changes in my wheel for at least two months from now. I’ll post every month just basically to say I told u they wouldn’t fix any time soon. Like I said in my very first post. I dropped out of all my leagues and basically haven’t turned game on for awhile now. I just turn on when I see update to see if wheel has changed. But I’ll post in probably 2 to 3 months from now when they ea actually decide to fix. Thinking of just getting rid of my rig and wheel and stuff.

Oh I’ve also noticed in the league play that a lot of the fast drivers have all stopped showing to races like me. Think they added like a stability control to the cars handling. So looks like lots are not even playing any more. And there not even having issues with the ffb like me. I think even with ffb the game might be garbage.
- SkullyRacing2 years agoNew Scout@IronGhost38 Yes I also noticed similar behavior.
Now for me I got the right settings and optimized it for my skills. Maybe you are right and it should be added a little bit more FFB especially when accelerating.
Now I can only redirect my final Settings without cranking the experience.
Wheel settings:
Strength: 10,5 nm
True Force Audio 40
FFB Filter between 5-8
Dampener: off
In-game settings:
FFB: 98
On track effects: 40
Wheel damper: 30-35
I also put back the in-game true Force settings to 100.
This works now best for me.
FFB after acceleration can still be fixed and optimized, that is what I am experiencing - 2 years ago
I see you have in game settings damper at 35-40. That’s crazy high. It will stiffen the wheel turn but will take away any feel for the ffb. Be careful with the damper. I’m a decent racer ok. I stream live on utube. I also win many races against very skilled drivers. I know you’re probably compensating for the lack of ffb but that is actually gonna take away from ffb. Such a high damp setting. I only did 2 in game. But I got ffb up at 130. Because game isn’t allowing the signal for ffb I’ve stopped racing though as it’s just gotten to much. Second year In a row I preordered and then no ffb. So I’ll be waiting over 3 months to play. So I just said screw it I’m done. I lose the money I spent on game. 100$. But I have no headache now. lol. I’m done with ea games period now.

No im okay with dampener 30-40. In last games I was also using Dampener and feeling good with it
- NormBash842 years agoRising Scout@SkullyRacing thanks for the update. I've been lucky this time. Also, I don't really feel anything different with the dampener one way or the other.. I'm gonna mess with it more tonight.

I tried your settings and I don’t like the damper in game being so high. Kills all the feel. Try mine mate. I think u might like. I turned on off road effects as I usually don’t and it actually added more feel. Set your base too
11nm
damper off
7 ffb filter
tf adio 50
in game settings.
ffb 120road effects 40
rumble strips 0
off road effects 50
pit effects 50
damp 1
angle 360. On base as well. But if u like 400 better then use. Try those for quicks and get back to me on how u think it is. I added off road effects to 50 from being at 0. And for some reason it seems to get me more feel and stuff. Any ways try those settings out and let me know mate.

@IronGhost38 Thanks for the recommendation, for me there are some new settings, will let u know how it feels for my driving style
Also before my first League race, I'm still not 100% comfortable with my current settings.
Maybe this will help me to gain lap time and feel for FFB
- 2 years ago
Ok mate. U can send me a freind request on ps5 to if u like. Same name as here. Ironghost38. That’s also my utube name. So if u wanna see my streams to see how I am as racer. I use no assist and drive cockpit. Plus I can share my setups for race trim with u if u like. I just ran a race now in a league and I liked the feel off wheel. I think I will be surprised how nice it feels.
- SkullyRacing2 years agoNew Scout
@IronGhost38Sounds good. Will give you feedback about your setting the next 2 days. Also this game is the last chance to decide if continue with the game.
Also in making this decision to continue for the next - i need to improve my pace a lot.
With F1 23 I started to begin with trailbreaking.
Thanks for your settings and hope it will help me in racing.
I also use SIM Setting, no assists - 2 years ago
Nice mate. I got your request. I’m pretty quick I think mate. So I might be able to help on getting u some pace. And yes braking is very important especially on this game. But the ers now also is different and the one lap till drs has made it very difficult to get separation in races so u need to use your head more in this game. Manage the ers. Spend more time pressing buttons then driving I find I’m on this game. Lol

@IronGhost38 @HashbrownRolo @Rant1588 @ryanoliver21 @ha6hk3w77mwj I have been running 1 on dampener. I haven't noticed a difference with the feeling if I change it slightly. Was wondering if you all are running true force at the highest setting or not? Obviously we all have our own settings for the way we want to feel the road or off road. But the the tureforce setting I'm wondering if I'm hindering pace with having too things turned up too much.
In game it’s at 100 for me. On my base it’s 50. But it also depends how much u like true force. I posted my setting for wheel base and in game if u wanna try them. If ur having the ffb problem like me. The settings I posted seem to compensate the best till ea patches the game for our wheels.
And for damper. In game I run 1 as well mate. But on your base for wheel turn it to off. That’s if u own a g pro wheel. Will be different if u own a fanatec or some thing.

Hey folks,
thanks for sharing your workarounds and further setup tips!
For anyone else having issues, please try the steps from SkullyRacing here to turn damper off and see if that helps!

P.S.@alesimo07 @ricardonz I've moved your posts into this thread, since it seems to be related to the same issues.

Logitech g pro / ps5 still no FFb , same problem as last year game , are we getting fix at least ?
I’m having this issue with my Xbox series x controller. I’ll have no FFB when I’m on the track - I’ve got it turned up to 150 - but it’s back when I’m in the pits.
- SkullyRacing12 months agoNew Scout
@IronGhost38Thanks to IronGhost I was able to improve with my Force Feedback on the Logitech Pro.
You all should try to change the In-Game and on-wheel set-ups.
Also like IronGhost mentioned to adjust Vibration and FFB In-Game could be helpful.
I have it set on 135 now.
I set Dampener In-Game on 3 and is good for my style.
True Force Audio is set on 40-50.
But still @EA_Vendcera the FFB for our wheel is not fixed. We still need more FFB.
Please fix it in another patch.
We have to put for example the wheels strength on 11nm - maximum. This cannot be the solution. - 12 months ago
Ok I’ll try the in game true force. I’m at 100 now but I’ll up that a bit to the 135 to try. And glad those settings helped you out mate. I find with those setting the lack for ffb isn’t as bad and driving is much more enjoyable
- SkullyRacing12 months agoNew Scout@IronGhost38 Yes the FFB revealed after turning dampener in game down and damper on wheel off.
I just turned FFB in-game on 135.
TF is In-Game on 100, has no effect to turned in up, I guess - 12 months ago
If u haven’t already I think there’s something about turning the off road effects on to 50. Normally I have it off on all other games and I found by turning that up in the in game also gave me stronger ffb. So try that too mate. I normally have off because to be fast it’s best to have off. But not on this game turn it on 50 and u will notice more feel in wheel. Still leave curb effects at 0 though.
- SkullyRacing12 months agoNew Scout@IronGhost38 Thanks yes I tried it
- 12 months ago
They did update today as well for game. They changed the feel a bit. Think it helped a bit on wheel. I only was on quickly. But I think I noticed a bit more strength
