Full wet tyre allocation

Product: F1 24
Platform:PlayStation 5
Please specify your platform model. Sony PlayStation 5
Summarize your bug Only 2 sets of full wets allocated for race weekend
What is your 16 digit Report Code?
What peripherals are you using? Please list the exact make and model.
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? Sky
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to Grand Prix mode, and select a circuit and set weather to very wet
What happens when the bug occurs? Only get 2 sets of full wet tyres to last full weekend
What do you expect to see? 3 sets of full wets as it was in f1 23 and the same as real life

an example of this bug would be Australia and every session is very wet with heavy rain. You get allocated 2 sets of full wets which have 32 laps of life each tyre set. I do full race weekend, so 3 practice sessions full qualification and 100% race. Australia has 58 laps in the race so that leaves me 6 laps of tyre life to spare for 3 practice sessions and qualifying. It’s simply not enough

@GeordieJambo86 In 2024 the teams are only allocated 2 sets of wet tyres. This is because Pirelli made a new, "more performant" wet weather tyre that has been available from the 2023 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix onwards.

So maybe it's they just need to make the tyre last longer, as they're only following the new rules with 2 sets.

@DRudd13 Definitely needs to be longer life, fair enough if 2 sets is all you get now but they have to have longer life, I can’t see the tyres irl only having that lifespan, surely they can do 45/50 laps. Cheers for the comment though 👍

@GeordieJambo86I checked F1 23 at Australia, and the full wet has a life span of 38 laps. Which surprised me, because as I said before, the wet is meant to be more performant this year. But the game has made it less performant, but still took a set away.

I agree 45/50 laps would be about right, not enough to do a full GP but enough for 2 sets to last all weekend

    Edit: Or take simple maths of 3 x 38 = 114, 114 divided by 2 = 57 laps

@DRudd13 I hope they adjust something but I would put a chunk of money on them leaving it the way it is, judging by them cocking up the tyres on wrc and still haven’t sorted them out
