Game crashes on startup

Hi, 

I only purchased f1 yesterday 30th May on the ea app. However, when I launch the game from my pc I get a pop up showing ‘play F124 or F124 VR’ I select f124 and the game loads. Then I get to the loading screen and then the screen which shows ‘Press any button’ I click the keyboard, mouse or buttons on my wheels and then it freezes and then closes and then loads up my desktop. 

If anyone has any advise, please let me know as I have heard this is a known issue.🙏🏼
