I have problem with my egpu with 7600M XT connected via USB4.

Currently I'm using UMPC of AMD 7840u CPU and 780M GPU and it's all running well without any lagging or stuttering as well.

But when I switch to egpu with external FHD monitor, it starts lagging and it's almost unable to run in some certain circuit, the worst is Monaco.

Average FPS shows around 53 but minimum is 32 in Monaco and it looks even worse stuttering, but other some simple back ground circuits were good to go.

All graphics setting from low to high runs with same stuttering in above certain circuits.

I have tried several version of gpu drivers, re-install game and windows but nothing could help.

also disabled several options in graphics but not at all.

Only F1@24 runs bad but other games such as diablo4, RDR2 are running great as expected.

Please advise what else I can do to fix this up.

I don't want to run many circuits with full assist option. 😢

  • For anyone who has same issue as me, just connect eGPU with Oculink cable not USB4.

    Thankfully, any graphic issue disappeared.
