  • Lack of force feedback when using a logitech Pro steering wheel on PS5. Even when in game settings on F1 24 are calibrated to max strength and Steering wheel Setting being set to max setting of 11Nm there is never a peak output higher than 6NM. Similar bug/glitch on the F1 23 release which didn't get fixed for months

  • Product: F1 24
    Platform:PlayStation 5
Please specify your platform model. Sony PlayStation 5
Summarize your bug Force feedback output is limited on the Logitech G Pro racing wheel on PS5. The wheel supports up to 11Nm of torque, but torque appears to be topping out at ~4.9Nm in F1 24 based on the on-wheel display screen (and force feedback feels reduced compared to F1 23 with an identical setup).
What is your 16 digit Report Code? PHEC-PMCA-MDRA-BASC
What peripherals are you using? Please list the exact make and model. Logitech G PRO Racing Wheel, Logitech G PRO Racing Pedals
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? AT&T
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Race in any mode on PS5 using the Logitech G Pro racing wheel.
What happens when the bug occurs? Force feedback torque tops out at ~4.9Nm in all modes at all times, even when in-game settings are turned up to max force feedback levels.
What do you expect to see? Realization of the full 11Nm of force feedback torque supported by the wheel.

I have seen others mention this issue, but I haven't seen a full issue report so I'm submitting one. In short, on PS5 using the Logitech G Pro racing wheel, I am getting heavily reduced force feedback output. The wheel supports 11Nm of torque, but based on the on-screen display on the wheel itself, torque appears to be topping out at ~4.9Nm. An identical issue occured early in the lifecycle of F1 23 but was subsequently fixed.

    Hey everyone,

just to be sure, you are all experiencing this issue on PS5 and have made sure to update the firmware via a PC?

Another tip I saw some players mentioning was turning the dampener off on the wheel. Can you give that a shot?

  • When can we expect a solution/patch? It's an identical issue to what happened last year on F1 23 (showing EA just copy and paste) and was resolved by a patch after months of chasing.
