Microphone giving instruction to engineer

Hello,

I have a PS5 with a logitech g29 steering wheel and a Skullcandy headphone (Slyr pro). Both are connected with a seperate USB-A.
The PS5 does recognize the headset with mic. But in the game F1 24 I can't use the microphone to give orders to the engineer/team.
I read somewhere that the PS5 doesn't support this feature? Is that really the case, or is there something else I can/must adjust?
