- ERS sometimes stops deploying for seemingly no reason.
This is a gameplay feature to simulate an ERS fault, which is meant to happen occasionally.
But because the On-Screen Display and Voice Over do not properly communicate what's happened to the player, it can be rather confusing.
Further to that, Voice Over can tell the player to use ERS because the battery is full, even though deployment is currently unavailable, adding to the confusion.
These faults have been disabled following the v1.4 patch.
And the fact they have just disabled the fault from happening and not solved it by making the engineer communicate they have a problem, I'm worried the engineer won't be fixed at all.
Still a problem after patch 1.5
- @DRudd13 Wanna bet that this won't be fixed? Maybe in F1 25 it's going to work properly again.
- @Euphonic88 Am not confident that it will be fixed. F1 2025 big new feature lol. Even though it has worked for years.
It might also be the reason why damaged AI aren't pitting. Because their engineer isn't giving them alternative strategies.
