No alternative strategy giving after damage

Still a problem after patch 1.5

Same problem here. The engineer won't give you an alternative strategy. To be honest, most times those alternative strategies ere stupid but at least they were some. In F1 24, there aren't any. Not only when you damage your car but also when your tyres are doing better then estaminated or when the weather changes. No change in strategy.

After reading this

• ERS sometimes stops deploying for seemingly no reason.
  This is a gameplay feature to simulate an ERS fault, which is meant to happen occasionally.
  But because the On-Screen Display and Voice Over do not properly communicate what's happened to the player, it can be rather confusing.
  Further to that, Voice Over can tell the player to use ERS because the battery is full, even though deployment is currently unavailable, adding to the confusion.
  These faults have been disabled following the v1.4 patch.

And the fact they have just disabled the fault from happening and not solved it by making the engineer communicate they have a problem, I'm worried the engineer won't be fixed at all.

Yes, i hope they will read this one. Very frustrating. The engineer doesn't give you an alternate strategy at all when you have damage.

I think the engineer is totally broken. As he also doesn't come up with alternative strategies if you have been better/worse wear on your tyres, I.E when you have less tyre wear reduction boosts on in F1 world. Last year he's tell you to extended by 2/3 laps, this year nothing.

And also doesn't tell you to pit when the safety car is out, even though it's only 1 lap early on the race strategy, He would've last year.

Hoping it may get fixed tomorrow when they fix him not telling people they have an ERS problem.
