not connecting to multiplayer

i got f1 24 on steam, bought and installed it, went to play it (didnt have a ea account yet) the game said i needed one otherwise i would continue in offline mode. i made an ea account and ran the game, the message popped up again, i now have 70 hours on the game, still have the problem with a full working ea account, i also got it takes two on steam, that worked fine with linking it. ea support could not help me and suggested me to give it a try here

has anyone else had the same problem, if yes, i would love to ear your solution
