Number 1 after winning Championship

Summarize your bug Not being able to select number 1 after winning the Championship
What is your 16 digit Report Code? 0000000000000000
What peripherals are you using? Please list the exact make and model. N/A
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? verizon
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Win the championship
What happens when the bug occurs? No option for being the number 1 appears
What do you expect to see? an option to either automatically switch to number 1 or to choose it in customization

wish to become number one since I won the Championship but it doesnt even give me the option. Was available in F123

    @Nimbus_exe Same to me. It is so sad we don't get this option which is FUNDAMENTAL in an F1 game and that we had since F1 2016. Another thing they messed up and won't bother to fix... I'm not buying this game ever again with this little care. I bet they won't even read this thread which seats in their own forum and won't pass this to the developers.

    @Nimbus_exe Disappointing here for me too, in 23 we were champions and could wear number 1, just like in real life, I don't understand why they removed it this year

    @Nimbus_exe Same on PS5. Apparently, this issue is only present in Driver Career mode. In MyTeam, you can select #1 if you want to if you win the championship.

    I have the same issue on PS5. I've finally managed to win a championship in Driver Career but I can't select the car #1. 

    In previous games there was a prompt at the start of the season that asked me if I wanted to switch to #1. That prompt doesn't show up in F1 24. 

    I know it's only a very minor bug but I suppose this should be easy to fix. Please give us the ability to select car #1 again.

    In Driver Career Mode, when I win the championship, I am not able to select #1 for the following season and am forced to use my regular number. In previous games I was asked before the start of the season if I wish to change my number to #1 as a defending champion, but so far I have won three titles in F1 24 and have never been asked this question.
