Re: Ers deployment issue

About 11 hours in so far, across F1 World and Career, and the entire time, I'm yet to see ERS working. 

I have a button mapped, and when I press it (set to toggle, not hold), the UI visually indicates that Overtake is on, Overtake text switches to disable etc but battery never drains, and my car gets no performance increase. Even when Overtake is off and I set the deploy mode to hotlap, battery sits at 100%, never seen it go down once.

And it's horrible to play because I'm basically playing with the slowest car on the grid as I'm a sitting duck on the straights, almost have to play with the AI right down just so I'm not last every race

Game is virtually unplayable. I've tried everything, reinstall, remap controls, turn to hold to see if that works, but nothing, it's all just broken and making the game very difficult to play

    I play on steam and have the same problem.

    I noticed, that in my case three game files are corrupt, these are:

    • preloader_I.dll
    • EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.dll
    • EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe

    NONE of the following workaround leads to success:

    • Perform integrity check on steam (takes long)
    • Save the three files and copy them on each race start to the install dir

    I KNOW A LOT OF PLAYERS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. HOPE THE VOTE HERE TOO.

    same here, only mine was working till the 1.3 update, now its not working,i play on EA App.

    Me too. On PS5. I have no ers and also can not switch on drs. Can’t use game as so slow. Pointless money spent. Happens in career, my team career, two player career.  Very frustrating. Rebooted and just don’t know what else to do.

    Hey folks,

    thanks for the all the info so far. I've also merged some further reports into this thread.

    We do believe that there might be 2 different issues related to ERS.

    One where ERS sometimes stops deploying and one where ERS never deploys.

    Our team is still investigating both, but in situations where ERS literally never works, there is a good chance this could be related to any brake input. To try to fix that, could you please set a pedal deadzone? (Once again, this will most likely only work for players where ERS never deploys.)

    @EA_Vendcera Bonjour,

    Comme évoqué j’ai défini une zone morte de freinage cependant, le problème persiste toujours. L’ERS ne se déploie jamais et ma batterie reste à 100% je ne peux pas faire de courses ni rien.
    Mon jeu est bien à jour avec la dernière version puisque je l’ai installé juste hier.
    Je ne sais plus quoi faire 😭

    This is still not working!!!! I repair the app twice and still no luck I updated the deadzone for brake too.. please fix this for me I’m so slow compare to other drivers with ers and it’s no fun playing it.. I just bought a sim and spent over 3k like cmon. This should  easy fix for the dev. The patch didn’t do anything!

    Bro, i really need help on the ERS issue , i have spent around 3k and this game doesnt even want to switch on the ERS.

    Please let me know how to fix it.
