Re: Full wet tyre allocation

@GeordieJambo86 In 2024 the teams are only allocated 2 sets of wet tyres. This is because Pirelli made a new, "more performant" wet weather tyre that has been available from the 2023 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix onwards.

So maybe it's they just need to make the tyre last longer, as they're only following the new rules with 2 sets.

@DRudd13 Definitely needs to be longer life, fair enough if 2 sets is all you get now but they have to have longer life, I can’t see the tyres irl only having that lifespan, surely they can do 45/50 laps. Cheers for the comment though 👍

@GeordieJambo86I checked F1 23 at Australia, and the full wet has a life span of 38 laps. Which surprised me, because as I said before, the wet is meant to be more performant this year. But the game has made it less performant, but still took a set away.

I agree 45/50 laps would be about right, not enough to do a full GP but enough for 2 sets to last all weekend

    Edit: Or take simple maths of 3 x 38 = 114, 114 divided by 2 = 57 laps

@DRudd13 I hope they adjust something but I would put a chunk of money on them leaving it the way it is, judging by them cocking up the tyres on wrc and still haven’t sorted them out
