I started a new driver career, and it happened to me in Bahrain, i was less than half a second from the fastest lap.

Then I went to the new rounds of challenge career as Charles, and it happened there too.

But as you can see, I was nowhere near 4 seconds off in the race result

In my case it was a career that was started before the patch, but it just now also happened in a freshly created career,

Ok, thanks for the feedback. Just need to see if it was an issue with the patch integrating with saves or an issue with the patch itself. Issue has been noted and escalated.

Hey Everyone!!

So, I took an entire saturday one day to type out suggestions for how to change the EXP System for different stats for gains and losses.. (See attached)
I believe VALUE for XP LOST  for being over 4 Seconds behind IS correct at 1000xp LOST.
The ISSUE could be that the calculation is pulling from the MAXIMUM VALUE LOST instead of the correct Value of the players time.

It's not a "Simple Error." to make, if this is the case.
It took me hours to figure out the brackets, negatives, and all that ended up balancing out.
MY numbers took me hours, and I'm no mathematician. I can only assume how long it took to go even FUTHER indepth than what I had to do.

I hope a DEV can see this post and have a look into this possible solution..

The pace stat is a bit broken cause I could have the best race weekend ever. Get pole and win the race by 30 seconds but it will still go down

Just finished Miami with a 1:31.1 on hards and Oscar had a 1:30.5 Miami but apparently I was 4+ seconds off of the fastest lap so I lost 750 points off of my pace 🤨

After patch 1.3, the Pace stat now decreases no matter your fastest lap in the race, making it impossible to gain rating as you lose 1k pace each race. When looking into how I lost so much rating, it kept saying the gap to fastest lap was +4s, which it wasn't.

Summarize your bug Since the patch when I compete in a race in F1, I lose my career stats. I finished a race for Williams in 13th but still lost stats because apparently I was 4 seconds off the fastest lap time! You have completely ruined the game play!

Why have you done this? You had a good game, you just needed to sort the wet tyre thing, but once again you have listened to the 1% of players, instead of the majority and ruined the game!

How have you not worked out why you keep losing sales yet? It’s because you keep listening the YouTubers that want an F1 sim….ITS NOT A SIM….ITS A GAME! SORT THE GAME PLAY!

The patch notes say nothing about it being patched.  What it says is the increased pace stat will be patched. This is the opposite since the last patch, whole different issue. 

I am having  the same issues no matter how well I do my pace stat drop effecting my overall

Thanks for your report, other players have noted this issue as well, so I have already escalated this issue to the Devs and they are currently looking into it.

Yes, unfortunately this is a new issue that was introduced by patch 1.3. I discussed this with several players on Friday and escalated the issue to the Devs so they are currently looking into it.

What happens when the bug occurs? The Pace Stat goes down 500 in career mode and says I was 4 seconds off fastest lap when i was only 2 tenths off and therfore i am losing a lot of pace from this issue.
What do you expect to see? Not To Lose 500 pace because i was 2 tenths off fastest lap when i am in an alpine

Can we expect another patch this week to fix it?

I hope so, it makes it difficult to move forward n the career mode when we’re hamstrung like this.
