Simsonn Pro Pedals sharing steering inputs only in F1 24.

So I bought some new pedals and installed them as an upgrade to my current fanatec ones. The pedals work fine in iracing and are recognized in the device manager as unique devices. However when I attempt to play F1 24 I have an issue where it registers the inputs as the same axis even though it doesn't show any input registered from the pedals when I use the 'test buttons' feature. I have verified that they work perfectly fine in other games and software so I know that it is related to settings within F1 24, I'm just not sure what they are or how to adjust them. I feel like it is a mapping issue on a menu that doesn't exist.
