Slow AI on Quali and super fast during Race

Hey. Got a problem when AI are very slow on qualification. I've made P7 in Haas on 100 AI. Them during Race they are very fast and I end up on P12. It seems for me like that level AI during quali is...

after some testing it seems to be the exact same for me. Could it be engine temps maybe? I seem to average around 280f-290f but this is the first game that I've ever gotten that high so idk how much they affect times

I haven't been able to find anything about it online aside from this post though so there is a fairly high chance I just have real * race pace compared to qualifying

    I have the same problem, have to lower the AI from 98 in quali to 90 in race, to be nearly as quick as the AI around my startingposition.

    I'm playing F1 games since 2019 and didn't have this issue from then to 23. Only in 24.
