Product: F1 24
Platform:PC
Please specify your platform model. PC
Summarize your bug Using my Fanatec GT DD Pro 8Nm with CSL Elite V2 pedals I have a deadzone on the throttle pedal of around 20-30% upon applying the throttle.
What is your 16 digit Report Code? Not applicable
What peripherals are you using? Please list the exact make and model. Fanatec GT DD Pro Wheelbase with Fanatec P1V2 wheel. Fanatec CSL Elite V2 pedals. HP Reverb G2 (was racing in VR)
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? Seethelight
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just try the game with a decent racing wheel & pedals, preferably (to match my equipment) Fanatec equipment.
What happens when the bug occurs? Just a big deadzone on the controller (pedal) throttle axis.
What do you expect to see? No deadzone as it is set within the control options.
Coming out of corners I start to carefully press down on the accelerator pedal and it initially does nothing, then when it starts working at around say 25% area the engine response is very sharp and can easily cause wheelspin / spin-outs.
Using Fanatec recommended settings for the game, and the Fanatec software is reporting that all pedal inputs do work properly with no deadzones evident. In game settings, all aids (including traction control) are disabled.
Don't have this issue on F1 '23 or any other racing game.
I can kind-of get used to it, but it's definitely not correct / normal and the problem actually ruined my last race due to how insensitive then suddenly very sensitive the throttle becomes.
I've seen this reported elsewhere but don't know of a fix, if there is one please?
