@GrumpsMcDumps What I have noticed is that suddenly the brake pressure increases - and the car slows down or reacts slowly to the throttle. This is particularly obvious on long straights that have DRS because it seems that when the brake pressure goes over 5% (or even higher) either you can't engage DRS or it disengages. This is clearly seen in telemetry data (I use Iko Rein's version) and have several different laps showing that I have the throttle at 100 and the brake percentage will come on and stay on sometimes reaching close to 10% in v1.7.
This is better than the 1.6 version of the software when it would go as high as the high-teens. That was on the Miami track. On the Spa track it has been in a pretty consistent location in the start finish straight - and it is easily seen by not being able to engage DRS - but the brake percentage doesn't get into the teens. It has also become more frequent unfortunately. This would seem to validate your observation. But having the brakes randomly engage is a serious problem that needs to be addressed. I filed a bug report on this.
