Tire Smoke under Braking - impossible to see

@EA_Vendcera please can this be passed on, there have been a few threads on it. It's a game breaking bug that affects league racing, online racing, etc. It's an unrealistic blast of smoke every time ...

thanks for reporting! Yes, this is a weird bug we've already passed on to the dev team, and it's being investigated.

@Dismal_Games No worries, I know it's quite a frustrating issue and can definitely impact visibility quite a bit. I hope we'll get a fix for this out soon.

  the problem already existed in the last game, has it still not been solved?
  
  I remember that last year you could get around the problem by switching off the smoke completely in the hardware_settings_config.xml, but then you don't have any smoke in the game and of course that only works on the PC

  Kindly support us in solving this issue. I am currently playing in cockpit cam and i cannot follow the cars in front because of the smoke - basically cannot see the braking markers and apexes. I have this issue on PS5 console - so no option to remove the smoke.

    Hi @EA_Vendcera, any news on this?
    I would say it should have top priority, a lot of corners are impossible now when racing, visibility is close to 0 sometimes.
    It also affects replays, there is a very pixelated and low quality cloud of smoke on hard braking corners and when the race starts, looks embarrassing.
