Two Player Career Mode Keep Crashing - Unable to Play

Me and my brother bought the game from Steam and have been trying to play the two player career mode but his game is constantly crashing to desktop without any error or warning. We can play the single player career mode without any issue but we only bought this game to play coop. I would very much appreciate if anybody else had the same issue and found a solution.
