Unable to change AI difficulty while in F2 season

Please specify your platform model. PC
Summarize your bug Once you start F2 season, you cant change your AI difficulty since you cant even look into menu when you are at car setup
What is your 16 digit Report Code? GGKH-EMCB-SJVS-XBCD
What peripherals are you using? Please list the exact make and model. Thrustmaster T128
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? Vodafone
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start a F2 career, then try to change the AI difficulty while you already raced on some tracks
What happens when the bug occurs? You cant change the difficulty
What do you expect to see? That i can change the difficulty while im on a new track while in car setup (before quali)

I see this as an issue since i was trying to see how good/bad the actual AI is. But now i cant change it.

    No FFB Logitech G923

    Logitech G923 has no FFB. I have the latest firmware installed and have GHub open when playing. Have tried multiple settings and configurations, but no FFB at all in steering wheel.

    Also unable to select a difficulty above beginner and cannot enable the use of paddle shifters. Everything is automatic, no option to change.

    That’s only in f1 world through the “welcome in f1 world!” the issue im talking about is in career mode.

    It's a weird bug for sure...

    I managed to change the AI difficulty in the menu between qualifications and race.

    It should be just before you select "go to race", pressing "Y" or "Triangle" on consoles, or the correct button for parameters on PC.

    If you finish quali and then exit career mode when you are on the grid before the race, you should be able to go back in to your career mode and be at a screen which allows you to edit settings before going to the race.

    It tells you at the bottom what to press to load up settings.

    Since the forums aren't working correctly and submitting a bug report isn't working properly I'll just add it here. FIX the F2 car MODEL. It's not even close to accurate.

    @toxinrayn The F2 car is 2023’s model. The 2024 model with the new look rear wing will be added later this year, so it’s a waiting game I’m afraid.

    Same issue for me on PS5. Really annoying because i calculate my difficulty for every track to make it as realistic as possible. But if i cant change the difficulty before i start quali on a new track that means no driver career mode for me until this is fixed. If i remember correctly this was a problem when F1 23 released as well, until they made it possible to go into settings from the qualification screen. Strange they made the same mistake again. And annoying. Makes me feel like i paid a good amount of money for a game i cant play fully yet because i cant change difficulty per track. And to add to this if you have done a F2 race in driver career mode you cant even go to the menu because it drops you right in the quali for the next track without options to go to a menu. So you have to close and restart the game if you want to go to the main menu. Seems its an easy fix. Just give us a settings button in the qualification session. Like there was in previous games.
