Wet tyres increasing tempreture while off the racing line

In this week's F1 world featured wet weather 35% Grand Prix @Spain. I decided to test the new feature of cooling tyres off-line on the main straight. But to my surprise they went up, not down. They should go down just because it's the straight and go down even faster when I went off-line.

I haven't tried any other game modes as the game is just a broken mess and I have no idea how to find a good AI level to want to play a career.
