The AI isn't perfect for sure. But personally for me I do think it has been improved with the patch, slightly.
My issue is the fact that it was literally just thrown out in a disastrous state to begin with. That I find is unacceptable given the price of the game.
They'd be much better off getting it right in the first place than trying to patch it after months of not much enjoyment. The same goes for the wet weather debacle and excessive tyre wear on a pad.
All of these massive issues should have been identified during the development stage and most certainly not afterwards.
I'm enjoying F125 a lot more these days, but frustratingly it could be so much better with more attention to detail from the development team.

Oh I completely agree with your whole point about not rushing the game, especially when its the same problems that were in 24.
Yes the AI have improved slightly, but its unenjoyable without mods making the ai slower, which dont always turn it down. Like ive played a couple races today in myteam around china, Japan, and imola.
China Is still terrible, especially going into that high-speed right hander into the straight, but also the fact that they are braking 100 meters earlier into the final hairpin, then also being a boat in the acceleration.
Japan wasnt awful, you gain mostly in the S section, and hairpin, then lose most of it back going down the straight into 130r unless your behind someone.
Imola was okay, they are a absolute rocket on the straight, and through the chicane, even my teammate had more top speed then me and I had drs and he didnt.
The ai are still very random at tracks where they are completely overpowered, and where they are awful. Drs doesnt even matter without dumping your whole battery into the straight, and you cant make the move if your more than 7 tenths away, even if they dont have drs.
