I see new avatars when creating my own driver. Since F1 2016 I used one that was similar to me. Now it's gone and these new ones are cool but few and none of them suit me. Give back those old avatars and leave the new ones too. The more the better. Of course it would be best to have an editor to create a character (height, skin color, hair, eyes...).

Every year I’ve used the same exceedingly handsome avatar only to find out it’s gone this year!
Im not especially bothered but it’d have been nice if they had either just added the new ones or, preferably, utilised a creator.
Agreed why on earth take them away? Introduction of new ones is welcome but why take old ones away, ridiculous desicion!
I have the same problem. The avatar I've been using for years, which looked a bit like me, is no longer in the game. And that bothers me a lot.
When will we get a real face editor ? Besides, EA already does it in FIFA and NBA games, so why not do it in F1 games?
There is a lack of special attention to avatars, more advanced customization like in EA Sports FC 25, we all want to customize a face that looks like ours, who knows, maybe in the future EA will look more fondly at this area of avatar customization. I understand that the focus is on the cars and the tracks, but I believe that this customization would make the game more complete.
It isn’t just avatars. How many good player helmets, liveries, emblems and back grounds did we get? Why does the MyTeam factory not show your team’s colours and emblem on the splash screen? Why does your pitcrew always wear the same fireproof clothes? Why do all your workers wear the same polo design (I guess my OCD reacts badly to the asymmetric design)?
They focus on the racing, which this year is finally good, but customization options are not in front of mind. And when they give you something it usually isn’t very appealing.
