F1® 25 - Patch 1.12 Discussion Thread

We can all give as much feedback as we possibly can but until they actually test the game themselves and actually go in depth to figure out the root cause of the problem nothing will get sorted. 

Please. Please. Please. Just do your job and fix the game, that way we can all play a game we love without having to come on here every five minutes just to give feedback on major issues that you should be able to spot and fix. As well as complaining about multiple other issues that aren’t getting fixed either.

Since Patch 1.12 (PS5, Sim Rig, Driver Career with FULL Practice, Qualifying & Race Distance, and Red Flags & Safety Car set to Standard)

Abu Dhabi - Rain (WTF? ...Rain at a place that gets less than 10 rain days a year), & No Safety Car

Melbourne - No Safety Car

China - Rain, & No Safety Car

Japan - Rain, & No Safety Car

Bahrain - No Safety Car

Miami - Rain, & No Safety Car

The AI in Wet Conditions: Since Patch 1.12 I've only experienced a very slight improvement when battling with the AI in wet conditions. The AI are still unreasonably quick in the wet, ...far from ideal, or enjoyable. BOOOOOOooooooooo! 👎🏽

Safety Car: Here we go again. I'm in my 3rd Season of Driver Career and I can count on one (1) hand how many Safety Cars that I've seen so far, and two (2) of those were at the same (2nd season) Grand Prix.  There have been No Safety Cars after five (5) Grand Prix in Season 3, ....and the way this game goes I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't experience a Safety Car at all for the remainder of Season 3, ...Sad 😢

I rate Race Strategy very highly in my F1 Gaming experience, ...so the non-existence of the Safety Car (ever), detracts from the strategic aspect (enjoyment) of my racing, ...especially during full distance races 😒

Playing Sonic Racing Crossworlds for a Change much fun! I say bye bye f1 25. It was good while it lasted.

I wonder if the stupid ghosting with Nvidia Frame Generation will ever be invstigated or if EA will stick to their "we fixed FSR so all Ghosting is fixed" from the 1.06 update.

This behaviour says so much abotu how EA handles this game.

Dear EA, maybe there is a poption to add to the new patch option of "simulate prectice missions" in the coop career mode ?

And one more question about coop career mode, in future rewind and restart session will be able in the coop mode? Make note that it will much  improve coop career mode for the new players (rookies) in f1 game

If you look in the Generic setting section of the game's control options you'll see that there's a Trueforce gain slider - this is where you adjust it. 

I mainly play this game with VR  but unfortunately EA Sports has made the graphics very poor  not comparable to Rally 2.0 which has very good VR graphics. I would like to ask EA Sports to improve the graphics for VR fans to have better performance

Is the game going to continue like this? Aren't they going to fix this **bleep**?

The last patch was a month ago and the Comm Raised Issues was last updated 10 days ago to say they have a couple little things awaiting the next patch. It implies there is at least 1 more patch and I believe they plan 2 more “seasons” for F1 World. Wet racing is mentioned nowhere as something they are still working on.

As for the game getting any better- I’ve rarely seen them fix anything that was still fundamentally broken this late in the cycle. It usually means they don’t understand why things aren’t working as they should and hope to fix it for next year. 

Not sure there will be a next year for me. If all they do is adjust to the new regs without fundamentally changing the game to fix their long standing issues I don’t see the point. 

My Team seemed great at first but in my 4th season just feels like the movie Ground Hog’s Day. And career in 2024 was better since I didn’t have to deal with the rain. 

I skipped 2023, ready to do it again unless they wow me with all those customization suggestions we all made last year around weather, weekend structure, moving sprints, AI etc. Even then, the kids are moved out,the price ain’t cheap, and I have other hobbies…

The AI ​​has been broken for years. Sometimes it's too fast in corners, then too fast on the straights. Duels are predictable. The same strategy is used every race, dirty air only affects the player, as do tire temperature and wear, More power in ERS overtaking mode, AI trains, etc.

Why does each of the 19 AI cars drive at exactly the same speed on the straights?
