Hi Gavin
Have you ever considered a career mode where you're only a driver?
Personally, I’m not very interested in R&D, team management, or skill points.
I believe a career mode focused purely on being a driver shouldn't be underestimated. Every aspect will be seen in a different way!
R&D: the team will progress automatically in research and develop. As a driver you can give your feedback on witch area should be developed, and the team can hear or ignore you, maybe based on the faith it has in you.
SETUP: you can build your own setup (like now) but with the help of some enginner, maybe Jeff, powered by AI and your drive style
Reputation: your reputation with the team, fans, follower, other drivers change based on your decision and your drive style. It should affect stuff inside and outside the track: other drivers can be more aggressive with you, and your team can be favourable to hear your feedback
Negotiations: you can negotiate contract with other team (like now)
Budget cap: your incidents and crash will affect the R&D budget and development speed
Radio: an improved speech-to-text and an AI engineer that actually tells you something usefull can be a game-changed. You can ask stuff like "is the undercut effective in this track? can i pass verstappen undercutting 2 laps?", "whats my championship position if i get second in this race?", "i have a water leakage", "the brake feel inconsistent", "upshifts are crap", "tell my team mate to let me pass! i have the pace to reach the podium!"
The experience can be really immersive!
PS: its offtopic.. but could you give us a feedback about the PSVR2 compatibility? Will be ever be developed? Some tecnical issue are preventing it from being implemented? The management decided that its not financially sostenible? We have 0 official declaration about it and its a little frustrating
Thank you!
