Also regarding upgrades, have there been plans to expand the current upgrade system to include for example engine cooling, tyre cooling (or rather brake cooling which in turn should be a bit more pronounced in the tyre temperatures) or mechincal grip? Or to give the whole upgrade system more depth by giving us a practice program to verify if an upgrade actually is an improvement (or possibly even worse but that would take a bit more, potentially though just take away the effect of an additional upgrade to keep the AI capable of going with it) or just wasted on the car? Could be realised by making the upgrade look as if researched but only through a practice program can that be truly verified and if the player (or AI) doesnt verify it they could go to grand prix with actually less performance than they think and are surprised that they dont make up as much ground with more upgrades than the AI. Could be coupled with various amounts of resources spend on the research of an upgrade, the higher the cost the lower the risk of failing (which would need to be tested on track) (or even having a negative effect). Ferrari 2018, Aston Martin 2023 or Red Bull 2024 have been prime examples of upgrades potentially going very bad which would spice up a career mode. Practice program for verification could be 2 laps with upgrade vs 2 laps without upgrade and the game would then show the result. Not too much effort but also not a freebie so that it doesnt matter if it shows that it failed or not. Even if that kind of advancement wouldnt be chosen, are there even plans to expand the upgrading in the game beyond the current splitting which is barely more depth?
