F1 career realism idea

So i know many of you watch fomula 1 races and you know that it has Practice 1, 2, 3 Qualifying 1, 2 and 3 and obviously the race. But on every race there is a formation lap, and I was wondering if it would be worth it to add a formation lap in the career mode since I want the game to be as accurate as possible to the stuff in real life.

    There is a setting in the game already where you can turn it on and choose either broadcast where you watch the cars drive round or immersive which gives you full control of the car
