F1 timing tower

In f1 real life’s ui it looks much different then the I game timing tower because that one is from years past and I want to see if they can like bring it up to date with real life you know what I mean?

As in when the race is ongoing and you see 5 drivers?  The two in front, you, and the two behind?
In highlights/race replay, it has a timing tower and i'd love that to be there instead. I expect it's believed it'll take up too much of the screen while driving so they've kept it as it is for now.
I'd find it so much easier to see gaps to pit into and how strategy would play out if you could see. For example, do I pit now when there are 5 drivers i'd have to get past?  Am i driving faster than they are so it wouldn't matter. You can look at the mini-map but it isn't always reflective. Particularly useful now as the Team Owner, as you can see and affect both drivers races better. 

I played a MotoGP game once and it would say when someone had overtaken someone. I'd have settled for something like that.
So you'd have a pop-up that says something like a green arrow pointing up and 8. Hulkenberg  and a red arrow pointing down saying 9. Lawson if Hulkenberg overtook Lawson for 8th.    Just to keep track of what other drivers and teams are doing so I can manage my constructors efforts better.

However, the timing tower where you can physically see that would be better. And also look more representative of an actual racing experience.
