Force feedback at the start of the race

At the start of a race or when I return from a break, my force feedback is often not activated; it takes 2-3 seconds to activate. Why is this? And are there other people who have this problem?

 

Example: During a race in Japan, the force feedback only started to be felt in the middle of the first corner. So, from the start until the middle of the first corner, I had no force feedback.

Or during the race, if I pause the game and when I come back, my force feedback often doesn't appear for 2-3 seconds. But sometimes it's fine.

    Been this way for a number of previous years as well - the FFB phases in to avoid a shock movement I guess, but its too slow IMO

    There are certain time trial flying laps where it fades in right before a corner and you have little opportunity to smoothly control steering

    Should be a setting, either on/off or ramp speed
