you are absolutely right for everything. But it is easier and cheaper to copy and paste. That`s why we have basically the same game year by year.
more minor things to add:
- original HUD
- control in the pit lane
- dynamic track evolution (from wet to dry or vice versa, with drying racing line f.e like in Grand Prix 4)
- flags of all countries + national anthems at the podium
- track marshal and cranes (one again like Grand Prix Game >20 years ago!!!)
- mechanical failures, chance to return to the pit or stop the car instead of having the grey black screen out of race.
- simulation for AI (Tyre temp & degradation, ERS, fuel etc), because at this point it is just a cosmetic thing without real calculation and simulation.
Thats why there is no need to buy this game annually.
