Pitstop release error/bug in two player career

Hello,

A friend and I are experiencing a very annoying bug in two player career mode that ruins nearly every race. It seems completely random. Sometimes it happens to one of us, sometimes to both, and in rare cases, to neither of us.

In almost every race, we encounter the issue where the pit crew won't release the car after the pit stop is complete. The stop usually takes around 2.5 seconds and appears normal, but then the light doesn't turn green, and the car won’t drive off. Instead, it takes somewhere between 5–20 seconds before the light turns green and the car is finally released. This doesn’t appear to be caused by other cars blocking us in the pit lane. It even happens when there are no other cars pitting. If there is a safety car or if it is your scheduled pitstop or not has no effect. We are both playing on PC.

I've found reports about this bug on Steam and Reddit, but not here on the EA Forum. So maybe EA isn’t aware of it yet.
