F1® 25 - v1.06 - Vehicle/AI Changes Feedback
Hey everyone,
Following the release of the v1.06 patch (the patch notes can be found by tapping here) we'd appreciate your feedback on the changes that have been made to racing against computer-controlled opponents (AI).
Whilst all feedback and additional bug reports are appreciated on our dedicated Technical Issues & Bug Reports page, please keep replies to this post relevant to the questions posed below.
- Since the patch, have you noticed that have been able to maintain a similar top speed to AI competitors?
- Since the patch, have you noticed you are more competitive against AI competitors in wet conditions?
- If using automatic gears, are you happy with the changes made to upshifting in wet conditions since the patch?
- Do you have any other feedback on the changes that have been made when racing against the AI compared to previously?
As a reminder, additional improvements to the experience racing against the AI are being considered.
Thanks again for your feedback and support with F1® 25.

Thanks to everyone who has shared their feedback so far - please keep it coming!
Whilst we can't reply to everyone, rest assured it's all being taken into consideration. As a reminder, please try and format your responses based on the questions posed and keep the chat on-topic to the specific changes mentioned. Any other feedback relating to this patch should be posted here.
The changes made in v1.06 were not expected to address straight line speed and wet condition performance of AI competitors entirely, rather to improve competitiveness of players across all difficulty options when racing these computer-controlled drivers. As the v1.06 changes were made to the player car (rather than the AI), the AI is unchanged in this patch. This is why your feedback is important for considerations towards incremental changes to the AI behaviour and raceability in future patches.
AI changes are complex and as such the team want to thoroughly test any such improvements before they are made public to avoid any negative side effects. We'll continue to update you once there is more to share.
Thank you!
