Practice and qualifiying times all over the place

The free practice and qualifiying times from the ai is all over the place. The ai is so unconsistent in setting flying laps, for example russel ist the fastest in one weekend and in the next one he is out in q2 with a gap from 1.8 seconds and others in the slowest cars are making it into q3. This makes career mode unenjoyable for a realistic experience.

  • Could be traffic, and also the grid is very close this year irl too, any tiny slip up and you will see a giant getting kicked out of Q2 and a backmarker went into Q3, it's actually quite realistic.

  • I think it's a real positive that there's more variability in the ai performance. I remember in previous games where the grid was almost identical every race. That's way more boring. I don't see this as a issue.

I get your point, but the gaps are way too big because between p1 and p2 there are 0.6 sec and between the teammates there are sometimes over a second. I think at least  they should investigate this issue

Yea this part is weird, I suspect it might have something to do with using the fast-forward feature during AI hotlaps, the simulate time (which is often faster) might be messing up with real-time laptimes
